Fun New Apron

In our travels this summer I found this really cool apron at a quilt show in Oregon. I bought all the stuff to make three for hostess gifts. I've been holding off posting about it til I'd given them all away - and the last one will be gifted out on Friday. I love the vintage-look of the fabric and I especially like the little glitter stones I've put on the Christmas tree for added bling. The picture doesn't pick it up much, but trust me it is really cute.

I haven't checked to see if I can get the fabric in my area, but I really like it. It has a large rick-rack trim that also gives it a vintage feel.

What do you think? What hostess wouldn't love to receive this? Cute huh?

So pretty! I don't have a lot of talent when it comes to sewing, but I do love to see what others can do.

That is so beautiful..and the fabric is unique. It has a 'toile der jouy' feel to it, which is very appealing.

ps - thx for stopping by my blog!

I like it. The pattern is unique. My neighbor makes all kinds of arts and crafts items that she sells. I've bought a few of her aprons and haven't seen this pattern in her collection.

I can't wait till hubby and I can travel more.

Wayyy cute! At least you are making great use of your time by creating adorable things for gifts!!

I *HOPE* it's just the time of year that's got me overwhelmed right now. I have my doubts, but for now I'm trying to fool myself into believing this anyway :)
