While on our great vacation this summer I stopped at several quilt shops starting in the Amana Colonies IA and ending in Alaska. They just had a few more wildlife fabrics. While buying the fabrics I was thinking about a lap quilt or comforter, but when I got home the adirondack chairs needed softening up and the answer ended up being wildlife fabrics on one side and a pretty floral that I got at Joanne Fabrics for the other side. It didn't take long, it was just a matter of squeezing a few minutes here and a few minutes there, okay maybe it was a few hours here and there. Anyway, I was very pleased with the outcome. I did four chairs.
It doesn't show up too well, but the square in the middle top has a log cabin on one the others have a bear, wolf and deer. They have a kind of patchwork design.
As with any project I'm glad they're finished and can't wait to start another.

Oh they look great! I'm not sure which I like better, they are both really nice. You do such great work.
Beautiful work as always. How nice it must be to be crafty. That's one talent I lack. What a great way to remember you amazing trip to Alaska.
