Couldn't let the day pass without saying "I miss you Janet". My sister died in 1994 at the age of 45 from colon cancer. She was too young and fought a good fight. I know heaven is a better place with her there. She was always ready for a party and loved to entertain. She didn't live long enough to see her daughter get married or to meet her grandchildren here on earth. She has beautiful twin grandsons and a granddaughter named after her. We all miss her dearly and think of her often.

Sounds like she was a very sweet lady and yes, she left this life far too soon. I'm so sorry for your loss and I admire the way you celebrate the life she lived.
Yup. I thought of her today too.
Don't you wonder how things would of been if she was still here? I guess god needed her with him.
Yes, I remember Aunt Janet being very fun! I'm sorry you had to lose a sister... I can't imagine how hard that must be.
What a beautiful post Judi! Sounds like she was a great sister. I'm sorry for your lose. That had to be hard on you. I had an uncle that died from colon cancer too. I guess it runs in our family. Thanks for sharing your special memory of your sister.
How wonderful that Janet's granddaughter was named after her.
