Fertilize Friday

It's Friday so that means it's time to fertilize your plants and head on over to our gracious hostess to check out all the beautiful blooms. My gardens aren't too different this week, but what they attract was spectacular. My MM had a lot of patience and put his photography skills to work. I was really surprised when I was downloading some other pictures and found these of a hummingbird. So enjoy my offering and head on over to Tootsie Time to check out the other participating gardeners.

Trumpet flowers are infamous for attracting humming birds.

Is that a second smaller set of wings? How interesting.

The thing I don't like about Trumpets is that they also attract a lot of ants.

I've also learned that MM is a better photographer than I am. I used his camera last week and his shot of this rose is much better than mine. I'll have to ask for a few pointers.

The Rose of Sharon is loaded this week.

And I'm definitely putting more coreopsis on my list. This plant has bloomed for weeks.

I noticed a couple of pumpkins. This is the first time I've tried one in years.

And surprise of all surprises - I had a blooming hibiscus this morning. It is beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by.
