Lots of catching up

Behind on two reunions
Vacations galore

How did this happen?
Pictures started piling up
An avalanche aahhhh

Stop taking pictures
Make the camera disappear
I'd still not catch up.


That's my niece's solution...just stop taking pictures haha then you don't have to crop them. Just started having grandbabies you know I can't stop.

Busy month is May
end of Winter, Spring begins
joy at every turn.

Mother's Day each year
comes to celebrate her love
Moms are always there.

Lots of birthdays too
come around this time of year
celebrate with us.

Coming every year
June high school graduations
I have lots this year.

Lazy daze come next
hot, fun July and August
have a GREAT SUMMER.

Haiku Friday

Here's my first edition of Haiku Friday. Have to be honest here, I had no idea what a Haiku was til a few weeks ago. I'm sure I learned about it in school, but that was at least a hundred years ago. Not perfect, but not bad for a first try.

Another weekend.
Hoping the weather is good.
Kids coming over.

Roof needs to be stripped.
Preparing for new roofing.
Please God please no rain!

Two weeks good weather
Now it’s looking like two bad
Please God please no rain.

Fun for Mom and girls
Gardening, romping in sun,
Fetching drinks and food.

Men up on rooftop
Tearing off old dead shingles
Muscles working out.

Cars need to be in garage
Dumpster needs to go.

Front porch nearing completion
